Award-winning Tamarind Hills Resort has expanded from luxury villas and suites to the newly completed development of the ultimate relaxation spot, The Beach Club.

Situated just few steps from the luxury daybeds on beautiful Ffryes beach, the Beach Club includes the Wild Tamarind Restaurant and the Clubhouse Bar. There is also an infinity edge salt-water swimming pool and expansive decks on two levels, where guests can relax and chill out. Just like the luxury villas and suites at Tamarind Hills, the Beach Club comes with breath-taking views of the Caribbean Sea.

The Manager of the Beach Club and its Executive Chef, Mr. Alessandro Moncada brings to life a new dimension to the established excellence of Tamarind Hills. The menus embrace native influences of the Mediterranean region; from Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Turkish (Ottoman), and Greek, without forgetting the many fresh ingredients from the land and sea of the Caribbean. Available at different times of the day will be 4 different menus plus the gelateria, an extensive wine list and a rich selection of cognacs, sipping rums, and fine cigars from the walk-in cellar. The experience will be complete with regular live bands and musicians, plus special events programmed each month.

The Clubhouse which was launched in October is open throughout the day serving breakfast until 11.00 am. From midday, the menu includes fresh locally sourced Poke ingredients for a light and refreshing lunch. The Clubhouse remains the perfect location to watch the sunset over Ffryes beach in all its glory.

The new beach facilities on Ffryes Beach and Sunset Deck with chaise lounge and double day beds offer butler service.

About Tamarind Hills

Tamarind Hills is a boutique luxury Resort, located on a waterfront bluff, between the white sands of Antigua’s beautiful Ffryes and Darkwood beaches. The Tamarind Hills Resort is a tranquil, beach-front escape, with spectacular views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea.

Choose from a collection of one-bedroom Suites, and two, three, and four bedroom Villas. The style and décor of all properties is modern Caribbean, with an emphasis on natural textures and earthy colours.

All Villas feature a master bedroom and ensuite bathrooms in every bedroom. Every Villa is lavishly appointed with a fully fitted open-plan kitchen, laundry, spacious lounge, and dining areas. All have a private outdoor deck, with a chaise lounge, an infinity-edged pool, and a fully equipped BBQ. The perfect setting for al fresco dining and spectacular sunsets.

The one-bedroom Suites have a four-poster king-size bed, a large bathroom with a teardrop-shaped bath, a walk-in rain shower, well-equipped kitchenette, dining table and workspace. The wrap around deck provides a chaise lounge and outdoor sofas. Many one-bedroom Suites have the option of a Jacuzzi built into the deck.

The newly completed Tamarind Hills Beach Club, situated on the very edge of Ffryes Beach, offers a great choice of dining and beverage options. Enjoy lite bites and beverages throughout the day at The Clubhouse bar and café, from breakfast through to watching the spectacular sunsets over the Caribbean Sea. The Wild Tamarind Restaurant provides a full-service international cuisine with Caribbean influences. Or simply chill out and have your choice of food and beverages served to you on the Tamarind Tree Deck, or at the infinity edge Swimming Pool, or on a Beach Sunbed. Alternatively, a Private Chef in your Villa is always a popular option at Tamarind Hills.

Tamarind Hills also provides free high-speed Internet and smart TV, and services include 24-hour security, a Gym, SPA services, housekeeping, full concierge service, and private parking.

Tamarind Hills is approximately 30 minutes drive from the VC Bird International Airport. Our Concierge service can provide fast tracking on arrival and VIP transfers. The main town of St John’s is 20 minutes drive. Jolly Harbour Marina is just 5 minutes away, where there is an excellent choice of restaurants, a supermarket, some shops, and ATMs. Nelsons Dockyard a UNESCO World Heritage Site is 40 minutes drive from Tamarind Hills. This was the base for Lord Horatio Nelson’s fleet in the 17th century Antigua’s original marine hub. Today superyachts tie up here, in English and Falmouth Harbours.
