ABTA STRENGTHENS CANADA SALES TEAM
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) - Canada office announces changes to the composition of its sales team which is expected to provide stronger sales support to Canadian travel agents across the country. New to the team are Business Development Managers (BDM) Kyle Christian and Gavin Jimenez, while Shamoi Richards, who joined the Canada team in 2022, continues to support as a BDM. Long-time team member Matara Richards remains as Marketing Administrative Officer

Kyle, while new to the BDM capacity, has formerly worked with the ABTA - Canada office as a Sales and Marketing Officer. Prior to that he worked in the hospitality industry in Antigua and Barbuda, serving as public relations manager for Sandals Resorts. Kyle has a decade's worth of experience in media and communications in the hospitality, consumer packaged goods, and finance industries.

Shamoi has over 8 years experience in the Tourism industry and has worked with the ABTA head office since 2018 as a cruise tourism marketing officer. He joined the Canada office as a BDM in 2022 and his tourism focus areas are Sailing and Yachting, and Airlift. Shamoi has a wealth of knowledge of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism product, so feel free to contact him with your questions
